Application and approval
You apply from the Become an affiliate page. We read every application and decide whether to accept it. Until it is approved no link is active and no commission accrues.
Links and how long they last
Once approved, you get a link for each course open to affiliates. A sale is yours if the person buys the course of the link within 30 days of the click; some courses have a different duration, shown in your area.
You also get a link to the whole site, which works the same way on any course open to affiliates.
If within that time the person clicks another affiliate's link, the sale goes to whoever got the last click.
Personal code
You can have a personal discount code, valid on courses open to affiliates. Whoever uses it at checkout attributes the sale to you even without clicking any of your links.
The code beats links. If the person clicked another affiliate's link and then uses your code, the sale is yours.
Commission
Each course open to affiliates has its own commission, as a percentage or a fixed amount. You find them on the Become an affiliate page and in your area. Ulilearn+, the subscription, is not part of the programme.
The percentage is calculated on what the person actually paid, after any discounts. A fixed amount never exceeds what was paid.
For instalment payments, bank transfers included, the commission is calculated on the order total and accrues as the instalments come in.
Waiting period and refunds
A commission can be paid 14 days after the sale. Any refund request almost always arrives within that time.
A refunded sale earns no commission. If the commission had already been paid, we deduct it from the next payment.
Payments
We pay once a month, by bank transfer, the commissions that can be paid. Below €50, the balance moves to the next month and adds up with new commissions.
If you take part as a private individual without a VAT number, we withhold the 20% Italian withholding tax (ritenuta d'acconto) and pay it on your behalf.
Tax details and IBAN
To receive payments, enter your tax details in your affiliate area (private individual, VAT number, association or company, with tax code or VAT number) and your IBAN with the account holder. Until they are there we cannot pay you, and the balance stays on hold.
What is not allowed
As part of the programme you may not:
- run paid ads on the name “Ulilearn”, for example search ads with “Ulilearn” among the keywords;
- send spam: messages or emails to people who did not ask for them, mass comments, bought address lists;
- promise discounts, prices or terms that do not exist, or present yourself as Ulilearn staff;
- buy through your own link or with your own code to get the commission: your own purchases earn none.
Suspension
If these rules are not respected we may suspend your affiliation, and links and code stop working. Sales obtained in breach of these terms earn no commission.
Personal data
We use the data from your application and your affiliate area to run the programme: to review the application, attribute sales, pay you and keep the accounts. How we handle it is explained in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on this page applies, with the date below. A change does not affect commissions already earned.
